Return of Goods in Case of Withdrawal Rights

The return of goods under withdrawal rights is possible within 14 days from the date of purchase (receipt) of the goods. For this purpose, use the withdrawal rights form or write a request in free form addressed to our company – SIA “RM MOTORS” (legal address: Daugavpils, Niedru iela 4, LV-5418) and send it to the email address support@rmmotors.lv.

You have the right to exercise withdrawal rights and cancel the distance purchase contract for the goods within 14 days without providing a reason.

You have the right to examine the characteristics of the goods to the extent that you would be able to do in a regular store, i.e., to check the item to ascertain its nature, rather than for any other purpose. Please remember that you are responsible for any decrease in the value of the goods.

The right of withdrawal ends after 14 days from the day you, or a third party designated or authorized by you, receive the goods for use.

Upon receiving goods from the courier, please ensure that the packaging is not damaged. If there is damage, it must be noted in the goods acceptance report provided by the courier.

IMPORTANT: If the defect in the packaging is not recorded in the acceptance report at the time of receipt, we will not be able to consider your claims regarding damage to the packaging and the contents of the package later. If the goods are received in damaged packaging and no report is made, they may not be accepted back if you decide to withdraw from them within 14 days.

VERY IMPORTANT: If the packaging is not damaged but, upon opening, you notice that:

• The item has external damage (e.g., damaged tire);
• There are missing parts listed in the package contents;

Then, you can file a claim and exercise your withdrawal rights within three days after receiving the goods. Any claims submitted after this period will not be considered.

Yes, it will be refunded.

If you withdraw from the goods within the withdrawal rights period, we will refund all money received from you, including delivery costs (excluding additional costs incurred if you chose a delivery method that is not the cheapest of our standard delivery options), without undue delay and in any case no later than 14 days from the day we are informed of your decision to withdraw from the particular item.

The refund will be made using the same payment method you used in the original transaction unless a clear agreement is made for a different payment method.

In any case, there will be no charge to you for this refund. We may withhold the payment until we receive the goods back or until you provide proof that the goods have been returned, whichever is completed earlier.

Please note that:

• The goods must be sent back or delivered to RMMotors store without undue delay and in any case no later than 14 days from the day you notified us of your decision to withdraw from this contract. The deadline will be met if you dispatch the goods back before the 14-day period ends from the date of purchase (receipt) of the goods.
• You will need to bear the direct costs associated with returning the goods.
• You are responsible for the decrease in value of the goods if they have been used for purposes other than those necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning. For example, if the item is technically and visually damaged, used, and/or worn (the item or its component, part) by more than 5% (five percent), such as engine oil, coolant, washing liquid, other similar goods and their parts.
• The consumer is responsible for maintaining the quality and safety of the goods during the period in which the withdrawal rights are in effect (including preserving the full and flawless packaging).
